Four-time Olympic tennis gold medallist Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian announced Monday (31 July 2023) that they’re expecting a second daughter in an epic gender reveal party shared with fans on Williams’ YouTube channel.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion tells viewers that she’s “Team Pink” before the reveal.
“I’m a little nervous because I don’t have a contingency plan if it turns out to be a boy,” joked Williams in the video.
Ohanian, for his part, had a little fun with Williams, setting her up to cut a yellow cake that was meant to be the gender reveal.
Instead, drones later lit up the sky with ‘GIRL’ to the delight of Williams and guests.
