Best drugstore foundation
This foundation is my go-to for affordable everyday wear. If you have dark spots, sun spots, any sort of discoloration, this does such a good job covering it. Its a full coverage foundation for literally only $8. Ive tried a ton of different ones and this one does not leave my face feeling cakey or heavy. It feels very lightweight and breathable. I usually apply my makeup with a beauty blender and dab foundation onto my face with a slightly damp blender. If i have more uneven skin tone in one area iâll just put a few extra drops of foundation in that area and go over it again but even doing another layer doesnt make me feel heavy at all!! Its not waterproof but it does a pretty good job holding up in heat thats for sure. And just a side key. Make sure to moisturize before foundation!! If you use too heavy of a moisturizer the foundation will definitely break up or melt off quicker so its important to use a light or matte finish moisturizer ð«¡â¨. But yeah i highly recommend this foundation if youre on your search for a good everyday breathable full coverage buildable foundation that wont leave you cakey!! It doesnt have much of a smell to it at all which is a huge relief since highly fragranced foundations can be very harmful to your skin barrier. But its super easy to use and overall amazing. Its fungal acne safe as well in case you were wondering⦠and also non-comedogenic⦠can it get any betterð

I use this often, it does not have any adverse effects. It goes on well, spreads nicely and provides good medium coverage. Looks natural and is smooth. It isn’t thick and sticky and matches my skin tone.

Great overall product, but not good in humid weather.
A little of this goes a long way. You have to be mindful not to apply too much of this on your brush, sponge, or fingertips. I normally wear a regular beige color like buff beige, but I actually got a tan going this year so needed a darker color. Iâve been using the fit me foundation as my âgo toâ for daytime use for about 3 years now. Itâs very comparable to the more expensive brands but at a fraction of the price, and who doesnât love high quality for a great deal? You do need to use a setting powder with this particular foundation because otherwise it will stay soft and or tacky on your skin. Use sparingly on your forehead otherwise it will look bad pancaky. It is buildable so if you feel itâs not covering your freckle or sun spot well enough just apply a little more on those spots OR dot with concealer, but make sure the first layer is dry first. Iâm almost 50 yrs old and I donât feel the need to build my foundation because with this one, after I apply my setting powder, that covers any spots that may have been visible. Hereâs s tip: use your concealer AFTER your foundation, not before.I really like this product but I will tell you itâs not good for killer humid sweaty summer days. So no go for high temps: it basically melts on your face and you canât wear sunglasses on a hot day with this. IS excellent for cold weather up to about 80 degrees.So it had its pros and cons.

I recently was made aware of that when you get older you can’t wear Dewey makeup, which I love and I was needing to get a matte makeup that kind of disguises the pores a little, and this makeup does that. It’s perfect coverage without looking too over made up so it’s not full coverage but that’s fine for me. The color is perfect and even though it’s a matte makeup it doesn’t make your skin look super dry which I hate. It dries down pretty quickly compared to a dewy makeup and as far as cakiness, I did not see a cake or look dry in any way

This foundation is top quality. Looks like something youâd buy from Sephora! It does not clog your pores. Itâs full coverage- it really does cover everything. Itâs matte but leaves skin looking glowy and healthy at the same time. Great price! Works well with a brush, beauty blender or your fingers. Itâs buildable too- does not ever look cakey. Gives your skin a flawless finish when paired with the pressed powder from this line.
